In addition to these features, a special weight sensing device determines if there is a power chair on the platform and will fold the lift into the storage position when empty.

AL600 Series Universal Hybrid Platform Lift The Harmar Pioneer, AL600 Series, is a Universal Hybrid Platform Lift (HPL) and it is the ultimate inside-loading lift. The remote hand control powers the lift allowing it to secure virtually any power chair or scooter into the back of most SUV's, vans, and minivans. Most installation use existing third-row seating mounts, eliminating the need for drilling.
